BUDGET supermarket Aldi is selling a super-size Peter Rabbit soft toy, and it’s bound to be a popular Christmas present this year.
The soft toy is dressed in Peter’s traditional blue jacket and priced at £14.99.
It’s based on the much-loved character from the Beatrix Potter books and the recent Peter Rabbit film.
Aldi describes the soft toy as “super-sized and super soft” and it is suitable for children from birth.
The toy is 55.5cm tall and 32.5cm wide so it would be the same size or bigger than a large baby or toddler.
Shoppers can pre-order the soft toy from today, and purchase online and in Aldi shops from October 25.
The soft toy has been launched as part of Aldi’s October Toy Event range and as it’s now just nine weeks until Christmas, it’s predicted to be a popular present for babies and young kids this year.
Aldi told us there are currently no plans for any other characters from the Beatrix Potter books to be made into soft toys.
The Peter Rabbit film came out earlier this year starring James Cordon followed by a wide-range of themed merchandise.
But while there are a number of Peter Rabbit toys for sale, this is the biggest we could find at this price.
JoJo Maman Bebe, for example, has a soft toy of Peter selling for £10 and measuring 24cm.
