Mountaineers italians went missing in the Mont-Blanc: a first body found, the other localized

The body of one of three climbers to the Italian reported missing in the Mont-Blanc massif for three days was found Friday, and those of his companions have been located, indicated to the AFP the mountain rescue and the prefecture of Haute-Savoie. The deceased has been identified as Luca Lombardini by the Platoon of police mountain (PGHM) of Chamonix, which had launched an appeal for witnesses.

The recovery operations of the body will resume Saturday morning.

According to the Italian agency Ansa, one of the disappeared, Alessandro Lombardini, 28 years old, is a member of the Relief alpine of the Financial police from the border town of Bardonecchia.
