AMIR KHAN does not mind Samuel Vargas calling him an old man as long as he knows he has the biggest balls in town.
The welterweight pair clash on Saturday night in Birmingham and the final press conference threatened to get tasty when the Canadian’s team hurled insults at the Bolton ace.
Vargas, nicknamed The Bull, got the press conference by the horns by calling the 31-year-old Brit over the hill.
But Khan hit back saying: “I am glad they are talking trash because it makes it more exciting.
“I have sparred with rivals who are better than my opponent.
“I never go looking for a KO or big bombs but if I see an opening I will take it.
“I know I have everything it takes to win this fight.
“I am a veteran but I cannot wait to get in the ring and get back to business.
“I hope he comes looking for the knockout because it makes the fight, they know I have the biggest balls in the division because I love getting caught up in a tear-up.
Khan needs rounds to set him up for a legacy bout with Manny Pacquiao or Kell Brook and 29-year-old Vargas insists he can provide them at the Birmingham Arena.

Keeping his cool behind sunglasses in a dim New Street hotel room, Vargas got the first blows in early and low.
He said said: “I might knock him out or I might break his ribs, I don’t care, I will win.
“I think he is an old man, I think he is over the hill and I think he is damaged, he has been out down a lot of and if I clip him he will go down.”
