ANT McPartlin and Declan Donnelly say they have their sights set on signing up Piers Morgan for the next series of I’m A Celeb.
The hosts, both 43, revealed they are even willing to meet the Good Morning Britain star‘s outrageous money demands to munch bugs in the Aussie jungle.

Speaking to Piers’ co-host Susanna Reid at a Royal Television Society conference, Dec said: “There is a guy who sits in this seat next to you who has said he would do it for a certain amount.
“Piers has said he would do it for a certain amount of money, which I think we could meet, but he keeps on wriggling out of it.”
He added: “We have a list that we get every year and we add to it and subtract from it.”
Piers has previously said he would need jaw-dropping sums of money to do the famous show, boasting last year: “You give me, let’s say, £10 million, and I’ll fly in tomorrow and win it.”

This could be Piers’ home come the end of November[/caption]
That would be an enormous jump compared to the biggest deal to date which was bagged by Noel Edmonds, who was paid £600,000 last year – despite being voted out first.
Ant and Dec went on to reveal the other big names they want to see in camp this year, with Dec saying: “On our list at the moment, one person we are tracking down this year is Richard Madeley.”
Ant chipped in: “Tim Westwood. I would like to see that. Alan Shearer, the list is endless.”
The pair also confirmed that filming for their hit Saturday Night Takeaway began yesterday after an extended break from screens.

Dec revealed: “We are going ahead with it next February and we have been working on it during the summer.
“We did our first filming day yesterday, so we are very much part of the process all the way through from conception through to delivering on air.”
Ant added: “We just started working on next year’s series. This week, we started filming yesterday, so that takes a lot of time, as I say.
“We try to challenge ourselves to keep pushing the boundaries and topping ourselves every year.”

Ant will be returning to I’m A Celeb for the first time since 2017 in November.
He was replaced by This Morning Holly Willoughby during the last series after taking a break from TV commitments following his conviction for drink driving.
