Ant McPartlin was still in great spirits on Saturday as he continued his triumphant return to work, making his arrival for the Britain’s Got Talent auditions at the London Palladium.
The presenter, 43, was beaming as he jumped out of his car before heading in the theatre, after receiving a standing ovation from the audience on Friday.
It comes after Ant admitted he was ‘really really emotional’ as he reunited with co-host Declan Donnelly for the first day of auditions, his first day back at work following his drink-drive arrest in March.

Putting on a casual display, Ant couldn’t hide his beaming smile as he made his way into the theatre, sporting a low-key navy jacket and flat cap as he joined the judging panel in arriving for the auditions.
Teaming the look with simple white trainers, Ant joined his co-host Dec as they headed into the theatre.
The pair’s reunion comes ten months after Ant was arrested for drink-driving in March, and following on from that the star took a break from presenting duties for the rest of 2018.

With Ant and Dec showcasing their typically cheeky expressions, David captioned the snap: ‘Mr @antanddec by me.’
David has been back on the panel alongside Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden and Alesha Dixon, as they prepared to judge yet another round of hopefuls showcasing their individual talents.

Upon his return to work on Friday, Ant was greeted with a standing ovation from the theatre as he embraced pal Dec.
Fighting back tears, Ant addressed the crowd by saying: ‘Oh god, I’m really, really emotional now. I’ve missed you all’ as Dec hugged him.
Speaking to Dec, Ant said: ‘As for you! I’ve missed you.’
‘What a lovely welcome. What a great show to come back to. I’m thrilled, I’m over the moon.
‘Shall we crack on before I cry?’
Simon added: ‘Ant welcome back. We missed you; it wasn’t the same. I mean even though Dec was brilliant, it still wasn’t the same. It would be like me not being with David, I would be happy, but not happy – if that makes sense. So on behalf of all of us, welcome back, we’re family. (Turns to audience) You are family!’

A source also told MailOnline: ‘Going back on stage was really emotional for Ant. He’s delighted to be back with Dec and excited for the BGT series ahead.
‘The reaction from the crowd today was extremely positive. They gave him a standing ovation.’
