ROGER FEDERER is bidding to reach his 11th ATP Tour Finals showpiece when he takes on Greece starlet Stefanos Tsitsipas.
The pair face off in a battle of veteran vs rising star, with the Swiss star 17 years older than his opponent.
Tsitsipas was due to take part in the Next Generation Finals, having to pull out to play in ATP Finals after a stellar 2019 that saw him rise to number five in the world in August.
And the 21-year-old Greek has acquitted himself with aplomb, beating Daniil Medvedev and last year’s champion Alexander Zverev to reach the semi-finals, only losing to Rafael Nadal in his last group match.
Federer will be eyeing a much smoother ride, having lost to Dominic Thiem in his first game, before beating Matteo Berrettini and cruising past Novak Djokovic to get to the Final Four.
