AYDA Field has revealed she missed out on being one of the highest-paid actresses on TV after losing out to Kaley Cuoco for role in The Big Bang Theory.
The X Factor judge opened up about tough moments in her life and how she has always tried to think positively to get herself out of a rut.
Ayda, 39, is fiercely determined to prove herself after being labelled an underdog in the competition.
She now hopes one of her acts will be crowned champion this year to beat Robbie Williams, Louis Tomlinson and Simon Cowell in the live shows.
Talking about previous hard times in her life, Ayda told the Mirror: “I tested against Kaley Cuoco for The Big Bang Theory. Not getting that hurts. And you read articles like, ‘highest-paid actress in television’.
“I’ve had jobs taken away. You have to audition the day after. You’ve got to do it, but I can’t be funny.
“Or when I’d broken up with Rob. You’re testing for this comedy, [but think] ‘I can’t do it’.”
She added: “I’m an underdog. You just have to know you are capable of a lot more than you think.”
