BARCELONA legend Xavi has become the first-ever Spaniard to make 100 appearances for an Arabic team.
And the Al-Sadd star has some mind-blowing stats to back up his incredible time in Qatar.
La Masia graduate Xavi made the surprise move to the Middle East after a mind-blowing 24 years at Barcelona.
But it seems the 38-year-old is showing no signs of slowing down after making a century of appearances for his new side.
The landmark came in yesterday’s Asian Champions League semi-final clash with Iranian outfit Persepolis.
Al-Sadd slipped to a 1-0 defeat at home and have it all to do in the second leg.
But fans will remember it as Xavi’s 100th game for the club – a figure many in Europe would not have predicted after his time in Catalonia.
Xavi was regarded as the king of passing during his years at the Nou Camp, creating plenty of goals for his teammates in both La Liga and the Champions League.
But his stats in Qatar as nothing short of insane – especially for a player of his age.
Xavi has racked up 65 assists during his 100 appearances for Al-Sadd, and has also notched up an incredible 22 goals as well – he managed 85 in 767 matches for Barca.
