A 34 year old man has been tortured and kidnapped for four days by three men at his home in Bayonne (Pyrénées-Atlantiques) and then in a room at Tarnos (Landes), probably because of a financial debt on a background of drug trafficking, has it learned Friday from several sources. “On the 13th of August, the victim was severely beaten in his apartment in Bayonne, and then the next day she was kidnapped and tortured in a room at Tarnos until 17 August”, told the AFP Marc Wedding, deputy prosecutor of Bayonne, confirming information of France Bleu pays Basque.
A judicial investigation was opened Friday against the three men for “forcible confinement with acts of torture and barbarism”. The three Bayonnais, aged 20 to 35 years, are known “very negatively of the police services, especially two of them, and they have a criminal record”, according to the prosecutor. They were presented Friday in the late afternoon to the judge of freedoms and detention at Bayonne. The prosecution requested their provisional detention.
The first elements of the investigation entrusted to the police report a financial debt to the victim on a background of drug trafficking. The victim would have incurred a debt that she would not be able to repay. She was beaten for the first time on 13 August by one of the suspects, and then sequestered by the other two in a room at Tarnos, where she would have been subjected to acts of torture.
