Billionaire Mark Cuban And His Wife Still Cook Dinner For Their Kids Every Night

When celebrities brag that they’re still “keeping it real,” and chasing after their kids just like the rest of us, it’s easy to brush them off.

Of course, if we could afford nannies and private chefs like they can, we would all have more family time.

But a handful of the rich and famous really do have down-to-earth lives just like the rest of us, and it seems that Shark Tank host Mark Cuban is one of them.

The billionaire businessman and owner of the Dallas Mavericks basketball team, 60, has been married to his wife Tiffany, 49, for 17 years. The couple share three children: 16-year-old Alexis, 12-year-old Alyssa, and 9-year-old Jake.

Tiffany deserves a lot of credit for keeping her husband grounded. When the couple were living in a “chateau” outside of Dallas – which she called “impractical” – Tiffany was still driving to work at an advertising agency in her Honda.

While the Cubans do admit to relying on a nanny (hey, you would too) they have a strict ban on private chefs and butlers. Instead, the billionaire couple say they still make their kids dinner every night.

Cuban has opened up to Arianna Huffington about the parenting challenges he faces just like the rest of us, including keeping his little ones from being on their phones 24 hours a day.

“That’s the downside of having a geeky dad, you know,” he joked. “I can figure all this stuff out.”

When the kids go over their time limit, the custom system he installed turns off their electronics. Zap, problem solved. He also makes his kids complete chores to “earn” time watching Netflix.

But, of course, his kids can find plenty of other ways to distract themselves in their new $19 million Laguna Beach home – which features an outdoor pool and a movie theater.

While we might fantasize about spoiling our kids with a bank account like Cuban’s, the mogul says his “biggest fear” is that his little ones will “grow up to be entitled jerks,” and we can’t fault him for being a devoted dad.

If you had Cuban’s money, would you still be cooking dinner every night?
