Boxing legend Tyson Fury gorged on burgers, booze and cocaine with hefty pay check during year out

BOXER Tyson Fury paid himself £380,000 during his ‘lost year’ spent gorging on fast food and booze.

Details of Fury’s pay during the 14 months up to the end of March this year show that despite not boxing he was still able to fork out the huge amount to himself.

The money came from his company Tyson Fury Limited and was a big step up from the previous year’s pay, when he took just £34,000.

In the period Fury, 30, has said he was regularly drinking 20 pints a night along with vodka and whisky chasers and gorging on pizza, kebab and chocolate.

But he spent months recovering his fitness after ditching his unhealthy lifestyle as he began preparations for his comeback.

He also spent the time fighting a legal battle to get his licence back following a troubled year in which he admitted using cocaine to help with depression.

The accounts show Fury has a fortune of almost £1 million, which includes property worth £325,000, ‘machinery’ worth £355,000 and a £24,000 car.

However this will have soared after his drawn fight with Deontay Wilder last month, which most boxing experts said he should have won.

The fight went a long way to restoring Tyson Fury’s reputation and mean he is likely to have another big money rematch.
