THE brother of a millionaire who was shot dead outside his burning mansion where his wife and two children died has been charged with setting his own house on fire.
Paul Caneiro’s New Jersey home went up in flames just hours before a devastating inferno ripped through younger brother Keith’s sprawling estate 80 miles away.
The 50-year-old’s body was discovered on the front lawn, while his wife, Jennifer, 45, their 11-year-old son Jesse and eight-year-old daughter Sophia were found dead inside.
Authorities now believe all four of the Caneiros were killed before their £1million mansion in upmarket Colts Neck was torched, according to NBC 4.
Mr Canerio, CEO of a tech company, reportedly suffered at least two gunshot wounds to the back and head while his family appear to have been stabbed.
Medical examiners have not determined causes of death for them but said the bodies of the mum and her children were badly burned.

Prosecutors sought to reassure the public that a random killer was not on the loose in the affluent community, which is also home to some celebrities.
Monmouth County Prosecutor Christopher Gramiccioni said: “We believe that this family in some form or fashion was targeted.”
Paul Caneiro, 51, was charged with setting fire to his home in Ocean Township and is scheduled to appear in court next Wednesday, authorities said.
Gramiccioni said he could neither confirm nor deny that Paul Caniero was a suspect in the slayings.
He was accused of using gasoline to set his home on fire while his wife and two daughters were inside.
No one was hurt in that blaze, which was reported at 5am on Tuesday – about seven hours before the Colts Neck fire was reported.
Keith and Paul Caneiro were partners at a technology firm in Asbury Park called Square One.
All four members of Keith Caniero’s family were “victims of homicidal violence,” the prosecutor said, adding that there was no indication of suicide.
