Bruce, 71, will appear in front of New Jersey Judge Anthony Mautone on Wednesday morning after his November bust, which was only made public two weeks ago.

Two weeks ago, it was revealed that Bruce was cited for driving while intoxicated, reckless driving, and consuming alcohol in a closed area, TMZ reported.

The icon was reportedly cooperative while he was being arrested and will face a judge in the coming weeks.

This is believed to be the Thunder Road singer’s first DWI.

It was later revealed that the incident happened when a couple of fans spotted him on his motorcycle, asked him to pull over for a photo, and then offered the 71-year-old a shot of tequila.

“Bruce stopped, took the pictures, then a fan offered him a shot of liquor, which he took, while sitting on his bike, which was stationary,” a source close to the singer told the NY Post.

Unfortunately for Bruce, the NY Post’s source claims he took a swig of the tequila in full view of New Jersey police who promptly swooped in to arrest to Rock ‘N’ Roll Hall of Fame legend.

“Park Police saw what happened and they immediately pulled Springsteen over as he drove away,” the source said.

According to the source, Bruce’s blood alcohol content was 0.02 — well New Jersey’s legal limit of .08 at the time time of his arrest.

The police report further read that the Born To Run singer was “glassy-eyed, swaying and reeked like booze” during his citation.

Due to his altered appearance, the cops then asked the Jersey native to go through a field sobriety test.

The results elucidated that the performer was swaying and took 45 steps when asked to take 18.

Bruce was also asked to take a breath test, but he refused.

He lives in New Jersey – close to where he grew up – with his wife, Patti Scialfa, who he married in 1991.

They have three grown-up children together, Evan, Jessica and Sam.
