BRUCE Springsteen’s son Sam was centre-stage in front of his famous dad on Tuesday.
The music legend watched as Sam, 25, was sworn-in as a firefighter in Jersey City, New Jersey.
“We’re very proud,” the Boss told reporters at the ceremony, adding, “We’re just excited for him today.”
Sam was one of 15 new firefighters being sworn in at City Hall.
“It was a long road, and he was very dedicated,” the Born In The USA hit-maker told the Hudson County View.
Sam and his fellow new firefighters just completed five months of training at the Public Safety Training Academy in Morristown, NJ.
After graduating from the Monmouth County Fire Academy in 2014, he served with his hometown Colts Neck Fire Department, the Long Branch Fire Department and the North Wildwood Fire Department.
At the latter, in 2016, he assisted in saving a fisherman who was stuck waist deep in mud, according to the Cape May County Herald.
