Georgia was deep in Auburn territory as the first half wound down when quarterback Jake Fromm connected with tailback Brian Herrien in the flat.

As Herrien neared the first-down marker, he was pushed out of bounds and could not stop before his knee smacked the photographer in the head.

The woman, named as Chamberlain Smith, immediately went down and was motionless for several moments.

Eventually, she became alert and was taken off the field on a backboard.

Georgia scored a few plays later to extend its lead to 14-0.

After halftime, CBS sideline reporter Molly McGrath reported that Smith is an intern for Georgia Athletics.

Her Twitter bio says she is a Georgia graduate and the “visual storyteller” for the athletic department.

McGrath added that Smith had a bruise above her right eye and was transported to East Alabama Medical CentrE in nearby Opelika for further evaluation.
