Canada: the shooter Fredericton identified and charged with four homicides

The author of the shooting that claimed Friday the lives of four people, including two police officers, at Fredericton in the east of Canada, has been charged with killing four people, announced the police on Saturday. The shooter is an inhabitant of the Fredericton 48-year-old, Matthew Vincent Raymond, has revealed to the police, without giving details about his motivations.

The man, who was injured and hospitalized, was charged with four homicide with premeditation. He will remain in custody pending his appearance before a court on 27 August, said the Fredericton police in a press release. It also made public the identities of the two civilian victims of the shooting: there are two residents of Fredericton, Bobbie Lee Wright, a woman of 32 years, Donald and Adam Robichaud, an amateur musician 42-year-old who worked in a automotive repair shop and was the father of three children, according to CTV.

Two police officers killed

The police had announced Friday the identity of the two police officers killed: Lawrence Robert Costello, 45, and his colleague Sara Mae Burns, 43 years old.
