Celtic lead list of clubs plotting loan move for Man Utd ace Scott McTominay

SCOTT McTOMINAY may be loaned out my Manchester United, with various clubs interested in a loan move for the young midfielder.

According to reports, the Scotland international, 22, is courting interest from clubs both north and south of the border, with Celtic among the clubs keen on his signature.

McTominay fell out of favour under Jose Mourinho after being played as a centre half in United’s 3-1 defeat at West Ham earlier this season.

He was repeatedly praised by former boss Mourinho for his attitude but Ole Gunnar Solskjaer could decide to give him match experience elsewhere.

McTominay came on as a substitute in the final minutes of Manchester United’s 1-0 at Spurs on Sunday and played the full 90 minutes against Reading in the FA Cup after shaking off an injury.

According to BBC Sport his situation is likely to be influenced by the proposed sale of Marouane Fellaini.
