And he has been no better during his recent loan spell at AC Milan.
The 24-year-old Frenchman was left out of Frank Lampard’s squad for Chelsea’s Premier League opening weekend drubbing by Manchester United and their Uefa Super Cup final defeat by Liverpool.
And as it appears Bakayoko has no future at Chelsea, The Express claim the French pair will come to his rescue.
The Blues are currently under a two-window transfer ban but can still sell players.
And the European transfer window does not shut until September 2 so there is still time for a homecoming to be arranged.
