EDEN HAZARD is likely to be rested for Chelsea’s Europa League clash away to Slavia Prague on Thursday night.
The Belgian put in a man-of-the-match performance in scoring twice as the Blues beat West Ham 2-0 in their Premier League clash on Monday.
It was just another reminder of the stunning talent Hazard possesses, which has alerted Real Madrid.
The Spanish giants are believed to be plotting a £100million move for the 28-year-old this summer, who has only one year left on his current Chelsea deal.
That could see the Londoners forced to cash in on their star man rather than lose him for nothing – but Blues fans would be furious.
Maurizio Sarri looks set to give Hazard a breather for their Europa League quarter-final clash in the Czech Republic.
And it doesn’t seem the worst idea as Chelsea’s next game is against title-chasing Liverpool at the weekend.
Speaking at a press conference, Sarri said: “This morning he [Hazard] was tired like the other players with 90 minutes and so I want to wait until tomorrow morning and I will decide.
“Slavia played on Saturday but we played Monday, I don’t know why. We need to change five or six players.”
