CHELSEA look set to sell flop duo Tiemoue Bakayoko and Danny Drinkwater – after they were both left at home for club’s trip to Germany.
The midfielders failed to travel for the Blues’ final pre-season friendly against Borussia Monchengladbach.
Now, with less than a week left of the transfer window, Frank Lampard appears to be dead-set on selling the pair.
Bakayoko, 24, spent last season on loan at AC Milan – where his indifferent form continued.
Meanwhile, Drinkwater, 29, failed to play a single minute in the Premier League, having only played in the Community Shield defeat last August.
Lampard had claimed every, single player in his squad would have the chance to prove themselves.
KANT DO WITHOUT HIM
But it now appears almost certain Bakayoko and Drinkwater – who both joined in the summer of 2017 – have failed to impress their new boss.
Paris Saint-Germain had shown interest in Bakayoko earlier in the summer, but have since signed £29million man Idrissa Gueye from Everton.
The Ligue 1 champions have also been in for N’Golo Kante – with the Stamford Bridge star hitting back saying he’s going nowhere.
Kante said: “It’s rewarding to be wanted by big clubs, when coaches want you in their project it’s nice.

“But I’m happy with my choices and feel good at Chelsea. I’m planning for the next season at Chelsea.”
Kante is yet to play under Lampard after a knee injury ruled him out of pre-season.
Meanwhile, Chelsea have thus far had no interest in Drinkwater, with no club willing to meet his £100,000-a-week wage demands.
