TAMMY ABRAHAM is set to turn down another loan move in favour of staying and fighting for his place at Chelsea.
According to the Mirror, the striker is posted to reject a temporary move to Championship side Aston Villa.
Instead he will battle for a place in Maurizio Sarri’s team with Alvaro Morata and Olivier Giroud the current preferred choices of the new manager.
Abraham, who was reportedly the subject of a £25m deadline-day bid from Tottenham, has not even made the bench under Sarri.
But rather than drop down into the Championship for regular games, Abraham will try and push his claim at Stamford Bridge.
The 20-year-old has come through the ranks with the Blues and signed a new five-year contract last summer before joining Swansea City on loan.
