CHILLING film shows the moment a husband heaves a heavy suitcase containing the corpse of his strangled wife into a waiting taxi.
Mother-of-two Anna Ovchinnikova, 37, wedded a convicted killer believing she could tame him – but paid with her life.

Police refused to take action seven times against her husband Alexander, 44, despite her written testimony complaining how she had been beaten by him, it was reported.
She demanded a divorce – but this triggered the row that led to him punching her in the face, then strangling her to death, said investigators.
The macabre video shows how he emerges from their apartment block in the Russian city of Cheboksary.

The husband – who made a video confession to murdering his wife after being detained – then took the bag to a reservoir area of the city and used a shovel to bury it in the ground.

In his confession he said: “On September 8, at about 10 pm, we had a row and during the argument I grabbed a rope and began to strangle her.
“Then I realised she was dead.
“I got the suitcase, and put her inside it, then called a taxi.
“I brought her to the Cheboksary Bay area…and I dug (the sand) with a shovel (to bury her).”

A statement from the IC said: “Police found the suitcase and the body of the victim with a rope around her neck.”
The man admitted he was “drunk” and that the couple were arguing over the tattoo artist’s demand for a divorce.
Police said the man had previously served 14 years in jail for premeditated murder.
He was released in 2011 and the couple began a relationship soon afterwards.
They had a daughter Yulia, six, and a soon, less than one year old.
Pictures show a happy family and Anna believed at first that he had changed his ways.

But in recent months she had made a succession of complaints to police, complaining he had beaten her, reported Mash news outlet.
Officers told her they had no hard evidence on which to open a case.
