Who is Connie Talbot?

Connie Talbot is an 18-year-old singer, who has amassed a huge following on social media thanks to her impressive vocals.

She has 188,000 admirers on Instagram, where she shares her stunning selfies and some of her songs.

Her debut album, titled Over The Rainbow, sold more than 250,000 copies and went to number one in three countries.

In 2016 she released an album entitled Matters To Me and has spoken about breaking into the music industry on Loose Women.

When was Connie Talbot last on Britain’s Got Talent?

The songstress stole hearts when she appeared on the first series of Britain’s Got Talent in 2007.

She made it all the way to the final and sang Somewhere Over The Rainbow but missed out on the prize to Paul Potts.

Simon Cowell intended to sign her to his label Song BMG, however, he decided not to go ahead with it as she was too young.

What has Connie Talbot been up to since Britain’s Got Talent?

A year after appearing on Britain’s Got Talent she released Connie Talbot’s Christmas Album which she recorded in her bedroom studio.

Connie Talbot’s Holiday Magic, her third album, released in 2009 was also Christmas themed.

In 2012 she released her fourth album Beautiful World under Hong Kong based label Evosound – it reached number one in the Taiwan charts.

Two years later she opened a special concert to celebrate South Korea hosting the G20 summit.

When will Britain’s Got Talent: The Champions be on TV?

ITV have confirmed the BGT spin-off will start on Saturday, August 31.

The series will run for six weeks – with this in mind the show is likely to end on October 5, 2019.

We know that the final was taped at Wembley Arena at the end of July.
