Coronation Street blunder proves Seb Franklin and Robert Preston didn’t cause the factory collapse

CORONATION Street has accidentally proved Seb Franklin and Robert Preston aren’t responsible for the factory collapse.

The builders assistant and the chef – who are played by actors Harry Visinoni and Tristan Gemmill in the ITV soap – did not feature in last night’s episode that saw the person responsible damage the roof.

The shadowy figure was seen damaging the roof but the credits revealed it can’t be Seb or Robert

The shadowy figure was seen purposely tampering with the roof at the beginning of the first episode.

But by the end of the second episode the roof had given way and Sally Metcalfe fell through it and was left lifeless in the rubble.

Eagle-eyed fans desperate to work out who is responsible out of the official six suspects list noticed that neither actors were on the credits for the episode, seemingly proving their characters’ innocence.

One said: “No Robert or Seb in the credits. Hmmm.”

That leaves Gary Windass, Nick Tilsley, Peter Barlow and Carla Connor as the remaining suspects responsible for the destruction and the death it will cause.

The cobbles are going to be rocked when a body is discovered in the factory after a second collapse brings more rubble down on both the victims and the people trying to help them.

A total of 13 characters will be left fighting for their lives in the dramatic scenes with fans convinced Rana Nazir will be the one to die, despite not being in the factory at the time of the first collapse.

Viewers believe that Rana, who is set to marry Kate Connor this week, will be caught up in the chaos after Carla Connor gave her a spare pair of keys to the factory.

One fan penned: “Rana will be the one who dies.”

“Ok we all know it’s Rana who is going to die,” another wrote. “Rana now has the keys to the factory.”
