POOR Chesney Brown has quite a dilemma in Coronation Street next week when he’s forced to choose between the lovely Gemma Winter and Emma Brooker.
Chesney – played by Sam Aston in the ITV soap – somehow has two of Weatherfield’s finest fighting over him and he’s torn between the two.
As the week kicks off Emma and Chesney meet for a drink and Ches is thrilled when Gemma – Dolly-Rose Campbell – invites herself along too.
But his good mood is short-lived when she reveals her kind-of boyfriend Spike will be joining them as well. It’s not a foursome Chesney is particularly keen on.
Later Ches confesses to Emma that even though his main mission was to make Gemma jealous, he’s now realised it’s Emma who he really wants to go out with.
Emma – Alexandra Mardell – is on cloud nine, but how will Gemma feel about it?

It soon becomes clear when Gemma turns spikey towards Chesney. She watches with jealousy as Ches and Emma go for a run together.
The pizza shop is then broken into and – when Spike is arrested for the crime – an angry Gemma accuses Chesney of shopping him to the police. An incredulous Chesney denies any involvement.
Chesney later discovers it Spike who robbed the pizza shop and Spike tells Gemma it was the owner, not Chesney, who told the police.
He then tries to convince her that she needs to tell Chesney how she feels about him. Will she go through with it?
Gemma then tells Chesney she made a mistake and is truly sorry about accusing him.
She asks him out to lunch to make up for it.
They’re clearly getting along well and Emma feels like a gooseberry when she joins them.
When she asks Gemma if she has feelings for Chesney, what will the barmaid say?
