CATHERINE Tyldesley may have only just left the cobbles of Coronation Street but she is already plotting her return.
The 34-year-old star – who played Eva Price on the long running ITV soap – sensationally quit the show on Friday night.
Fans sobbed as they watched Eva pack up her bags and move to France (along with Adam Barlow) in search of a new life.
But it seems the unknown might be a little daunting for Catherine – who has said she is already dreaming of a dramatic way for Eva to return to Corrie.
“Of course I’d consider it. We don’t know what the future holds,” the actress said when cornered by the Daily Star and asked if she would return to the soap.
“This has been like a home for me, from being this big [signalling her childhood] I always dreamed of being on Corrie. It was a dream job,” the actress gushed.
And it would seem Cath would be thrilled to return to the cobbles with a bang.
“I would love to see Eva come back and cause some more havoc. I think that would be brilliant,” she told the publication.
Fans were surprised to see Eva and Adam disappear together on Friday’s episode of the show.
Eva slipped out unnoticed from the Rovers and got in a cab with her daughter Susie and boyfriend Adam after leaving a note for her sisters Leanne and Toyah Battersby.
“I wish there was an easier way to do this,” she wrote.
“I wish so many things were different. Me and Susie need to start a new life, we need to leave the past behind us and try to move forward somewhere else.
