CORONATION Street star Charlotte Jordan has revealed that Daisy Midgeley‘s twisted plan to “use sex as a weapon” in upcoming scenes.
The actress – who has played the barmaid on the ITV soap since November 2020 – is on a mission to steal Alya Nazir’s man Ryan Connor.

The pair have grown close in recent weeks as Daisy has supported his dream of becoming a DJ.
In scenes which are due to air next week, the two decide to drown their sorrows by making their own cocktails together when one of Ryan’s gigs gets cancelled.
And Daisy makes her feelings very known by offering him a selection of drinks with some very specific names.
Speaking out about the creative concoctions with The Sun’s TV Mag, Charlotte said: “Do you want the Boring Naggy Girlfriend… Honestly, it was something ridiculous, or the Night of Wild Passion, is what I had to say!

“The brazenness of that. She’s just gunning for him and I think she uses sex as a weapon and so she’s just going for it.
“And to be fair, they were fairly intoxicated at this point. So I think you
can get away with saying absurd sentences like that and you can blame it on the alcohol!”
After plenty of drinks Daisy decides to go for it and make a move on Ryan by placing her hand on his leg.
But in real life she didn’t actually touch actor Ryan Prescott’s leg due to Covid-19 restrictions.
The soap star confessed: “They roped my boyfriend in because we’re shooting socially distanced, we can’t touch props, we can’t touch humans, we can’t touch anything.
“And so my boyfriend got the long awaited call he was hoping for for his entire life – Coronation Street wanted him to come to work as Ryan’s thigh double.
“He’s not an actor but he grew up watching Coronation Street, so it was really fun just to see his little face when he looked at all the sets and stuff.
” It was very sweet. It was lovely.”
