Coronavirus LIVE: Brits told to think twice before heading to the beach this bank holiday weekend as deaths hit 36,393

BRITS breaching the coronavirus lockdown over the May bank holiday weekend have been warned they could drag Britain back to “square one”.

Health Secretary Matt Hancock said those who continue to ignore restrictions this weekend risk forcing a return to restrictions as he pleaded with Brits to be sensible, despite the weather forecast.

The UK death toll now stands at 36,393 and a total of 254,195 people have now tested positive for coronavirus.

Meanwhile, No10 have said Dominic Cummings didn’t break lockdown rules after he travelled over 260 miles with coronavirus symptoms.
