Coronavirus UK LIVE: New UK quarantine travel rules unveiled as Priti Patel addresses Commons and deaths hit 39,369

PRITI Patel announced the Government’s quarantine plan this afternoon, with new restrictions on travellers arriving in the UK unveiled.

Meanwhile, Brits have been given fresh hope that pubs could fully reopen by the end of the month under new Government plans.

Last night, it was revealed that breweries are hoping to deliver 250million pints to our pubs in the next fortnight, with landlords taking delivery of the first kegs from June 15.

However, England’s lockdown rules will now be reviewed every 28 days – meaning Brits must wait an extra week for any changes to the restrictions.

The latest  coronavirus death toll in the UK hit 39,369 on Tuesday after 324 more deaths were recorded in the last 24 hours.
