Everall has been part of the academy since 2013 having worked at Port Vale and North West Counties League side Whitchurch Alport.
As reported by The Guardian, an investigation into the allegations against Everall are now pending.
A Crewe spokesperson said: “You will appreciate that it is not appropriate for us to comment in detail at this time.
“I can, however, confirm that all relevant and appropriate procedures have been followed.”
An FA spokesperson said: “This is a safeguarding and police matter so therefore the FA is not in a position to comment.”
A LinkedIn profile purporting to be Everall shows he joined Crewe in May 2013 and was appointed head of foundation in August 2017.

This will return the spotlight to Crewe who saw director of football Dario Gradi suspended by the FA in December 2016.
Gradi was the one who employed serial paedophile Barry Bennell at Crewe.
Bennell was sent to prison for 30 years in April for raping and molesting boys in the youth ranks at both Crewe and Manchester City.
