THE lid can be lifted on another shocking story of superstar footballers out before a game enjoying themselves.
And under THIS lid is possibly the tastiest scoop of them all.
But their behaviour was just as wild as the Brazilian’s – as they all popped into the garden for a quick game and then demolished some traditional Aussie cooking.
Luiz had heard how toddler Hudson McCarthy made a video message on social media inviting Chelsea round – as he knew they were in town to face Perth Glory.
And when Luiz arrived they headed to the mini-pitch outside for a vital warm-up.
Hudson tucked one goal away with his left foot – before tucking into a bbq with his towering trio of new friends.
Snags (a type of sausage) and Cheezels (crisps) were on the menu, alongside vegetables and other fare.
But, although Luiz fulfilled Hudson’s biggest dream by simply turning up, he also broke a promise..
Before leaving, the 31-year-old joked with the lad: “Tomorrow, I’m going to score for you. Now that’s a real gift.”
Instead, it was Pedro who popped up with the only goal against Perth.
That meant Luiz was unable to use the special goal celebration he formulated with Hudson and his peckish pals in the living room.
And Hudson had to make do with presents from once-capped France midfielder Bakayoko and Wales starlet Ampadu.
They gave him a Chelsea shirt – and tickets to see the match in his home town.
That friendly was a gentle first game for new Blues manager Maurizio Sarri.
Luiz, though, might face a grilling from Hudson over how he failed to score.
