Debenhams wows fans by discounting all its bikinis to just £1 in sale – and shoppers are stocking up for their holidays

SWIMWEAR is something you may only get the opportunity to slip on a handful of times a year – so you don’t want to spend more on it than you have to.

Luckily, Debenhams have put on an amazing sale which has seen bikinis discounted to just £1.

A social media user revealed the news online – and shoppers were delighted they could stock up at the department store in time for their summer holidays.

In a post to Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK, a woman called Charlotte announced to fellow members that dozens of styles of two-pieces had been heavily reduced.

Captioning a photo from the shop, she wrote: “Debenhams clearance on bikinis.

“All £1 including some Jasper Conran!!!”

Get yourself one for the hols.

Her post went down well with fashion fans who left over 200 ‘likes’ and 300 comments.

Tagging their friend, one person wrote: “Get yourself one for the hols.”

Looping in their pal, another commented: “Go have a look, I have a holiday coming up.”

A third shared: “Thank you for sharing.”

Last month, Debenhams slashed the price of wedding dresses to just £20 – and brides rushed to snap them up.

It was revealed last April that the chain would be closing 22 of its 50 shops in a bid to save the company.

It comes after we told you about the new “naked bikini” trend which leaves little to the imagination.

Australian model Tammy Hembrow partnered up with daring swimwear brand Minimale Animale to create a collection of pieces which can only be described as for poolside posing only.
