Desperate search after passenger falls ‘overboard from 10th floor of Royal Caribbean’s Oasis of the Seas cruise’

A SEARCH has begun for a person who reportedly went overboard from a cruise ship just off Puerto Rico’s north shore, the US Coast Guard said.

The Coast Guard was searching late Wednesday following an incident involved the Oasis of the Seas ship, which is operated by Royal Caribbean International.

Ricardo Castrodad, a spokesman for the Coast Guard, told the Associated Press that the vessel as in San Juan Bay when the incident occurred.

The person was not identified and no additional details were provided.
