DIEGO MARADONA could have secret love children in Cuba to take his total number of kids into double figures, his lawyer sensationally revealed.
Laywer Matias Morla said the retired footballer was “naughty” after he moved to the Caribbean island to recover from his drugs addiction and he expected more than one new son or daughter would surface in the future.
Maradona, 57, already has five children he calls his own.
But Morla sparked speculation the former Barcelona and Napoli ace’s offspring could reach double figures after his extraordinary admission in an Argentinian TV interview.
Interviewer Ana Carolina Ardohain dos Santos – better known as Pampita – asked him: “Will more Diego Maradona children surface?”
His lawyer answered: “I’m worried about Cuba” and when Pampita replied: ‘A Cuban boy?” she was stunned by the reply: “Hopefully just one.”
Insisting Maradona was single when he moved to the island in February 2000 and admitting he “behaved badly”, Morla added: “I’ve got a lot of friends in Cuba who laugh and say ‘Diego’s children.’
“There’s going to be a lot of Maradonas, a lot, even if some people don’t like it.”
He has two grown-up daughters with former wife Claudia Villafane as well as a five-year-old son called Diego Fernando with ex-girlfriend Veronica Ojeda.
His son Diego Sinagra, 32, is the son of a model who Maradona had a fling with when he played in Italy and finally he has another daughter, 22-year-old Jana, who he snubbed for years.
Santiago Lara, 15, is a lookalike of the Argentina star and two years ago claimed he was the legend’s sixth child.
Lara’s waitress mum Natalia Garat died aged 23 from lung cancer in 2006.
Morla also revealed that Maradona has had injections into the knee joints to slow down the effects of arthritis.
Worrying footage emerged of the Dorados head coach struggling to walk in training alongside assistant Luis Campos.
His lawyer has previously said: “Diego is not conscious of his physical limitations. He gets on the pitch and still thinks he is 20.”
