Just when Disney superfans thought having a wedding dress inspired by their favorite princesses would only happen once upon a dream, the entertainment giant has teamed up with a bridal designer to make magical wishes comes true.
Allure Bridal is playing fairy godmother this spring, bringing to life wedding gowns inspired by The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, and The Princess and the Frog.
With a bit of bippidi boppidi boo — and, naturally, some design savvy — the brand is launching a collection of wedding looks inspired by 16 Disney princesses.

Never knew I needed: This dress was inspired by Tiana in Princess and the Frog
Fairy tale: Tiana did get married at the end of the film, though the bridal gown inspired by her is much different
‘So many brides grow up admiring their favorite Disney Princess characters and are inspired by their journeys, gowns and stories of the classic films,’ Allure Bridals CEO Kelly Crum said in a press release.
‘Our design team worked tirelessly on each of these incredible gowns, as each dress features intricate detailing specifically inspired by the timeless characters known and loved by all of us.’
So far, drawings of just three of the gowns have been unveiled.
One, inspired by Ariel from the Little Mermaid, has a mermaid silhouette and aruffled skirt that ‘moves as gracefully as the ocean’s tide’.
