DOT Branning left devastated as her friend Dr Legg reveals he won’t be having treatment.
She’s upset with her friend but eventually decides to make the most of the time they have left Dot Branning will be left devastated in EastEnders next week when her old friend Dr Legg tells her he has made his mind up and is refusing to have any treatment.
As the week kicks off Dot, played by EastEnders legend June Brown, is panicked when she hears that Dr Legg is in hospital.
Desperate to get there, she’s relieved when Karen Taylor tells her a reluctant Keanu will take her.
When Dot arrives at the hospital she’s pleased to find out that it’s just a routine appointment about his health.
But after the consultation, Dr Legg tells Dot that his mind is made up and he won’t be having any treatment.

Dot doesn’t take the news well and upset with her old friend about his decision, she ignores his calls.
She’s given food for thought however by Max Branning and agrees with Dr Legg to make the most of the time he has left.
Dot then begins to make a nostalgic photo album for her friend.
It was revealed in July that Dr Legg would be returning to Walford after more than a decade since viewers last saw the character.
An EastEnders spokesperson said that actor Leonard Fenton would be returning for an emotional storyline involving Dot.
Leonard who at 92 years old is the soap’s oldest star said at the time: “I am very happy to be back at EastEnders and am looking forward to working with June and the rest of the cast and crew again.”
