EDINSON CAVANI has put Chelsea on red alert after admitting he could leave Paris Saint-Germain this summer.
The 32-year-old hitman has enjoyed another good season in France, scoring 22 goals in 27 appearances.
But Cavani is no longer the main man at the Parc des Princes following the arrivals of Neymar and Kylian Mbappe.
He has just one year left on his contract, and Chelsea are believed to be keeping tabs as they look to make some signings should their transfer ban be lifted.
The Blues have been left disappointed by loanee Gonzalo Higuain.
They looked at signing Cavani in January before opting for the Juventus forward.
But Chelsea could now push forward and land their original target at the end of the season.
Atletico Madrid are also reckoned to be interested despite signing Alvaro Morata from Stamford Bridge on an 18-month loan deal.
And Cavani admits that although he is happy to remain in the French capital, he can’t promise fans that he will definitely be there at the start of the 2019/20 Ligue 1 campaign.
