TONIGHT’S X Factor saw the show back to it’s best as a wide range of singers took to the stage to try and impress Simon Cowell and his cohort of judges.
There were tears, tantrums and some familiar faces for the music mogul, Robbie Williams, Ayda Field and Louis Tomlinson.

X Factor’s Louis Tomlinson fights back tears after contestant sings about late mother
Louis Tomlinson became very emotional when a contestant auditioned with a song her wrote about his late mother.
The One Direction was particularly moved because his own mother Johannah died in December 2016 aged 43 following a battle with leukaemia.
During his audition J Sol, 25, revealed he had decided to follow his late mother Victoria’s wish for him to appear on the TV singing show, after reading old text messages he exchanged with her. He went straight through to the next round.
Robbie Williams gets ‘deliciously confused’ by bearded drag queen
Robbie Williams got very excited by a sultry cover of the White Stripes’s Seven Nation Army by a bearded drag queen from Australia.
He asked Gingezilla: “Next time I do a swing album please will you do a duet of that with me.”
Robbie also asked to borrow his dress, to which his wife said: “It’s not the first time you’ve borrowed a dress.”
He replied: “Not in front of the public please!”
A woman brought her two cats in a pram to her audition
Charlotte Lily, 20, decided to bring her rescue cats to her audition.
The singer brought the pair in a pram while she performed an acoustic version of the YMCA.
She described herself as being a “cat mum” before wowing the judges.
Simon’s ‘ex baby mama’ auditions for FOURTH time
The American barista, from Dallas, gave the head judge another serving of “panda pie” , after previously singing for him on the US version of the ITV singing competition.
She cheekily told him: “I’m your ex baby mama but I still love you though. I came all the way across the pond to give you a little bit more.”
Panda tried out for the first three series of the US X Factor. She reached the boot camp stage of the competition but was hampered by ill health.She was rushed to hospital after being struck with pneumonia following an audition in front of a panel that included singer Demi Lovato.
Simon Cowell loves Scampi fries
During a break between auditions Simon was handed a packet of scampi fries.
He could be heard saying “oh I love these”. The rest of the panel weren’t so keen though and it was just Simon who ended up scoffing them.
Cezar the opera singer gets a standing ovation – but he’s already famous
The panel were left gobsmacked this evening by 38-year-old singer Cezar Ouatu, from Romania.
He got a standing ovation, and bought tears to Aydya’s eyes, following his performance.
Cezar is already pretty well known as he has represented Romania in the Eurovision song contest.
Ouatu, who was raised in Italy, previously released a single in Christmas 2012 and has performed alongside Andrea Bocelli at a concert in 2012.

Cleaner Louise Setara has a Cinderalla moment
Louise Setara, 30, is a cleaner who turned her back on a record deal she signed aged 18 in order to get married and start a family.
The single mother of two wowed the judges with a rendition of a song she wrote about a conversation she had with her former husband.
Simon said her performance was one of his favourite auditions that he had seen on the show, while Tomlinson praised the storytelling in her lyrics.
She said: “Tomorrow I’ve got to carry on cleaning and I’ll be Cinderella again. Today I got to go to the ball.”
Louis Tomlinson can do a great impression of Niall Horan
X Factor judge Louis showed off his skills on tonight’s X Factor when he did a great impression of Niall Horan.
Firstly he did a Liverpudlian accent, followed by an Irish one – leaving his fellow judges impressed.
