THE romance between Marlon Dingle and Jessie Grant comes to an abrupt end in Emmerdale next week.
It comes after he makes a grave mistake causing her to end things between them.
When the head teacher discovers what Marlon has done, he’s gutted when Jessie tells him she’s done and closes the door on him.
But what has the chef done that’s so terrible? And is their relationship really over?
Fans of the ITV soap have been gripped since Jessie – played by Sandra Marvin – revealed to her newly returned son Ellis that she has a secret she’s been keeping hidden from her Dingle lover.
Viewers have been speculating what she could be hiding.
Some believe she could be there to get revenge on Belle Dingle guessing Jessie to be the mother of Gemma Andrews.
Gemma Andrews is the schoolgirl Belle accidentally killed back in 2014.
Whatever Jessie’s hiding will be revealed this week when she finally tells Marlon, Mark Charnock, her secret.
He’s shocked by what she tells him but could it spur him on to make the mistake that drives her away?

Actress Sandra revealed to The Sun Online earlier this year that her character was hiding something.
She said: “I think her family history is yet to be discovered, let’s say.”
She added: “I mean she’s obviously got a son that she talks about a lot and she’s looking for somewhere to live nearer to the village.
“Ideally for somewhere her son can visit or something like that, so whether he’s someone that comes in the future, I don’t know.
“In fact, I don’t know if I can say much more without giving stuff away, really, but yeah.”
