MEGAN Macey is set for heartache in Emmerdale next week when her ex Jai Sharma tells her he’s keeping their young daughter Eliza after finding out that Megan caused a serious road accident.
His announcement comes after Megan – who’s played by Gaynor Faye in the ITV soap – tells her on/off partner Frank Clayton that she’s been to the police and confessed everything about the car smash that left village veteran Eric Pollard in a coma.
She insists to Frank that coming clean is the right thing to do and she’s prepared to face the consequences.
Viewers know that Megan caused the accident because she was texting on her mobile phone instead of paying attention to the road.
She then drove into the back of newly arrived Jamie Tate’s car, which was then shunted forward hitting Eric – Chis Chittell – in the process.
Megan then stood by as a confused Jamie was blamed for running down Eric, who was rushed to hospital.

Later Megan runs into Eric and tells him she’s already been to the police but is on her way to make a full statement, determined to deal with what comes next.
Meanwhile Jai – Chris Bisson – is livid when he learns from Eric’s partner, Faith Dingle, that it was Megan who caused the crash – and that little Eliza was in the car at the time.
Furious he heads over to confront Megan and leaves her stunned when he tells her he can’t trust her with their daughter and that he’ll be keeping her. How will Megan react?
Eric was left fighting for his life after the collision caused a bleed on his brain. He eventually came round from his coma but his family were warned that there could be some permanent changes to him due to the head trauma.
