EMMERDALE fans were delighted tonight as Daz Spencer (played by Mark Jordan) left the village.
Former cafe waiter Daz is heading down south to take a new delivery job in Croydon and planned to leave the village with his daughter Amelia (Daisy Campbell).
But he faced fierce opposition from his brother Dan Spencer (Liam Fox) and his partner Kerry Wyatt (Laura Norton).
The pair had raised Amelia in the Dales as if she was their own daughter.
Only last year it was revealed that Daz was Ameila’s biological father and not Dan.
Tonight Kerry confronted Dan and accused him of not doing more to stop Amelia leaving home.
She threatened to end their relationship if he let Amelia go – but the schoolgirl eventually decided to stay put.
And she bid a tearful goodbye to her birth father as he left the village in a taxi.
Daz has had a dramatic few months – he drunkenly hit Graham Foster after getting behind the wheel while boozy before Christmas and then drove off.
And fans of the ITV soap were less than sorry to see Daz go.
But some fans had sympathy for Daz after his emotional exit.
