Emmy Awards 2021: Red carpet stars return for night of glamor

Hollywood’s biggest – and vaccinated – TV stars descended upon LA Live in downtown Los Angeles Sunday night to kick off the 73rd Annual Primetime Emmy Awards.

And Kaley Cuoco, 35, kicked off this year’s ceremony in style as she arrived in a neon yellow Vera Wang gown, joining Mandy Moore and Yara Shahidi in equally bold and bright dazzling looks.

Mandy Moore, 37, stunned in a red Carolina Herrera gown while Yara, 21, emulated Audrey Hepburn in a green off-the-shoulder Dior frock.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there were a ‘limited’ number of guests (about 500) and nominees on the red carpet as well as event staff. Attendees had to show proof of vaccination and a negative test result.

Kaley stood out in the bright custom Vera Wang frock, which was made out of neon yellow taffeta and accented with silk and taffeta flowers on the straps.

Kaley, who announced her split from husband Karl Cook earlier this month, wore De Beers Jewellers’ Drops of Light earrings, which is 4.21 carats and set in platinum.

The TV star also wore the Allegria large eternity band with two carats of diamonds, set in platinum, from De Beers.
