Ex-Chelsea boss Antonio Conte ‘set to join AC Milan as Gennaro Gattuso replacement’

Conte left the West London club on bad terms as Roman Abramovich sacked him favour of compatriot Maurizio Sarri.

But the Premier League and FA Cup winner, who also lifted THREE consecutive Serie A trophies with Juventus, could now be in line for another Italian job after enjoying a luxury holiday with his stunning wife.

It’s said that the Milan hierarchy do not have full confidence in Gattuso’s powers, despite handing him a contract until 2021 just four months ago.

The former San Siro midfielder had managed to turn things around as an interim boss in the wake of Vincenzo Montella’s exit.

Meanwhile, Milan are also said to be in danger of losing star playing Leonardo Bonucci.

The world-class centre-back joined from Juventus for £30million just a year ago.

But he is being strongly linked with a return to Turin, while there is also believed to be interest from Manchester United.
