Brittany and her husband Jax Taylor, 41, welcomed their first child together– a son named Cruz Michael- on April 12.

The TV personality, who officially left Vanderpump Rules in December alongside Jax, responded to a Bravo fan account post that claimed their son’s name follows a trend among stars on the network.

She replied to the post: “Lol I don’t even watch Bravo but I understand because it is such a cute name.”

Many fans slammed Brittany for not watching the network she used to star on, while others accused her of lying.

She said in response to a fan that she wouldn’t tolerate people “calling me a liar when I’m definitely not,” adding: “Anywho I said my piece lol I love all the cute pie Cruz’s out there anyway!!”

The Bravo alum then admitted to another fan that she didn’t understand why her original post was “a big deal,” writing: “I’m just over here being happy and enjoying my son but I won’t be called a liar for no reason.”

However, Brittany later deleted the original comment.

Vanderpump Rules fans noticed that the comment disappeared and she eventually explained her reasoning behind taking down the comment.

She wrote on Instagram: “lol you guys are so insane I deleted my comment because I am not dealing with negativity when I just had a beautiful baby but I will say if you truly watched me over the years I said it numerous times I didn’t watch any reality tv not even the bachelor and that’s why I didn’t know Jax when I met him.”

Brittany continued: “I mean no harm by that or rudeness reality tv has just always made me anxious to watch.”

She added that she told former co-star Stassi Schroder about Cruz’s name, while the fellow fired star informed her that Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum Teddi Mellencamp’s son has the same name.

Brittany continued: “I don’t care I love the name!! It’s so cute so I see why other people have it!

“You guys need to relax this is the happiest time of my life no need to make something out of nothing.”

Alongside three red heart emojis, she concluded: “Spread love guys.”

Brittany kept fans up to date throughout her pregnancy[/caption]

Brittany and Jax welcomed their son after she suffered through a 27-hour labor.

She opened up about the difficult pregnancy and childbirth in a conversation with E! News, where she explained that welcoming her son was the “hardest thing” she has ever done.

The reality star was: “Nervous, excited, and definitely ready!” when heading into the delivery room, though she explained how sick she had been the last nine months.

“I have been extremely sick my entire pregnancy but at least he gave me a break the last three weeks from throwing up every day.”
