HARRY Redknapp could soon be managing a new career as an actor, if his footie pundit son has anything to do with it.
Jamie thinks his 72-year-old dad is having so much fun as a “celeb” since being crowned ITV’s king of the jungle that the stage or screen is a natural next step.

Former England star Jamie, 45, was speaking ahead of tonight’s Soccer Aid charity game, when he will play alongside actors such as Line of Duty’s Martin Compston and Mrs Brown’s Boys’ Danny O’Carroll.
Jamie told the Sun on Sunday: “Actually Dad could be an actor now he’s come out of the jungle — he’s like a superhero! He could do it!”
We also think so — by booting the hell out of Laurence Olivier’s Hamlet, David Jason’s Del Boy and Marlon Brando’s role in The Godfather.
Jamie, below, said tonight’s match “is a really nice mixture of actors and pop stars who want to be footballers, and us footballers who want to be actors.

“I would like to be an actor now. Of course, who wouldn’t?
Former West Ham manager Harry has already starred in three TV ads since last year’s I’m A Celebrity, when he charmed the nation with his love for wife Sandra.
Jamie, who has two sons with ex-wife Louise, said: “The show has been amazing for him, it’s given him a new lease of life, and my mum too.

“When you are managing it’s difficult.
“Now he’s so relaxed, so chilled — he’s a celebrity, not a football manager.”
