A BODY was found in the area of Grand Teton Park in Wyoming that is believed to be that of missing woman Gabby Petito after a chilling 911 call was released.
Brian Laundrie allegedly hit and slapped Gabby Petito, a 911 caller claimed, prompting the cops to speak to the couple.
“We drove by and the gentleman was slapping the girl,” the caller said. “They ran up and down the sidewalk, he proceeded to hit her, hopped in the car and they drove off,” the caller said, adding that they were driving a white van with a Florida license plate.
In a press statement, the FBI announced Sunday that the body found in Grand Teton National Park has forensic identifiers consistent with that of missing 22-year-old Gabby Petito.
“Today, the search revealed human remains consistent with the description of Gabrielle ‘Gabby’ Petito,” the FBI statement said.
Petito, 22, has been missing for two weeks after going on a cross-country road trip with her fiancé Brian Laundrie.
