GABRIEL JESUS was left raging and crying floods of tears after being sent off in the Copa America final.
The striker had put hosts Brazil in front against Peru on home soil at the end of the first-half – just two minutes after Peru had equalised from the spot.
But Jesus’ night turned sour with 15 minutes remaining after he was shown a second yellow card for an innocuous looking challenge from a throw-in.
Jesus went up slightly late with the ball in the air and caught a Peruvian defender.
But Chilean referee Roberto Tobar showed no hesitation in flashing a second yellow – leaving the 22-year-old furious and then upset.
As Jesus walked down the tunnel, cameras also picked up Jesus kicking bottles, landing a huge punch on the VAR stand and almost pushing it over.
