Game of Thrones fans furious after season 8 finale leak comes true

GAME of Thrones fans are devastated after plot leaks after the series that were shared online weeks ago have turned out to be true.

A detailed description of what would take place in the last three episodes of season eight appeared on sites such as Reddit, Twitter and YouTube, revealing key deaths and the character that would rule over the kingdoms.

Game of Thrones fans are shocked that online leaks about the finale were accurate

Reddit user /u/throwaway5873421 shared the leak on May 1 just before episode four hit screens.

In the now deleted post, they accurately predicted Euron Greyjoy (Pilou Asbæk) killing Rhaegal and Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey) having Missandei (Nathalie Emmanuel) executed.

They also predicted events which took place in episode five, such as Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) executing Varys (Conleth Hill) and Jaime (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) and Cersei dying in King’s Landing together.
And now it has been confirmed that the details leaked for the series finale – which will not be published in this article – are also true.

Naturally, fans were shocked to find out that the storyline found its way online despite the fact Game of Thrones showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss filmed multiple endings to avoid the ending being revealed ahead of time.

One fan admitted: “well, the leaks were all true and I am devastated,

While another wrote: And the saddest part is the leaks… all of them were true… I thought it was a bad joke, someone’s sick sense of humour…yeah… right…”

One fan stated: “Whoah this was so bad, and turns out the theory I read was really a leak, not even surprised.”

While another fan fumed: “WORST.ENDING.EVER! I’ve known the ending since early in the week ( I read the leak) and I prayed that it was a lie. What a waste I’m so upset.”

Loyals fans of the show weren’t too happy with the way it ended as the show’s final episode finally hit screens.

And it looks like the petition to redo the final season could very well end up getting quite a few more signatures after the episode airs in the UK this evening.
