Fans around the world are already desperate to get their hands on the ostentatious designs, with dozens taking to social media to share their excitement.

One wrote: ‘Absolutely fabulous!’ Another added: ‘Omg can’t wait’.

The collection, titled H&M [tv] Moschino, will be available in store and online on 8 November.

It is the latest in a string of partnerships between the high street giant and high-end designers, including Kenzo and Etro.

For the collaboration, Moschino creative director Jeremy Scott designed new pieces for both women and men, as well as a full range of accessories and added extras for dogs.

Prices are expected to range from £25 to £300 – making the designs far more affordable than Scott’s creations for Moschino.

Announcing the partnership in April, Scott said: ‘My life’s work has been to connect with people through fashion, and with this collaboration I’ll be able to reach more of my fans than I’ve ever had the ability to do.’

Speaking to Vogue, the designer identified some of his standout pieces.

‘There’s a silver sequinned parka dress,’ he said. ‘Denim pieces are all twisted into something else. Puffers and jackets are reconfigured into cropped things or double-long things. There’s a sportswear-with-evening kind of feeling, like a hockey jersey with a train.’

Ann-Sofie Johansson, Creative Advisor, H&M added: ‘Moschino is the perfect collaboration for fashion right now, mixing together pop, street culture, logos and also glamour.

‘Jeremy Scott is amazing – he knows how to have fun with fashion, and to connect with his fans around the world.’

In November last year Duchess of Cambridge favourite Erdem launched a sell-out line in store, with pieces appearing on eBay before they had even hit the shops.

And in November 2016, clothing from H&M x Kenzo were on sale on eBay for up to seven times the retail price, two weeks before the collection even hit stores.

And in October 2015, items from Balmain designer Olivier Rousteing’s collection for H&M were on sale a week before they hit the shops for double the retail price.

With so much interest on social media it appears as though the Moschino collaboration is set to go the same way.

H&M x Moschino will be available in selected stores worldwide from 8 November.
