HOLLYOAKS crew went to extreme lengths to melt snow on set as Stephanie Davis “faked being warm” as she filmed scenes to be aired in April.
The shivering actress showed the hard work going on backstage to be able to go ahead with filming in freezing conditions in Chester.
Steph told her followers: “Outside all morning, it’s so cold.
“Three thermal tops, two thermal bottoms, hand warmers, feet warmers, a hot water bottle, a coffee and then to take it all off for a take and act warm as well as act.
“Remember this when it’s on in April.”
She shared a short video of a man in an orange fluorescent jacket burning the snow with fire.

It’s after drivers were left stranded on the coldest night of year as flights were cancelled when temperatures plummeted to -15C.
In an attempt to get rid of the icy weather, another crew member was seen with a bucket as he gathered up the remains.
It was all in an attempt to set the scene of a warm spring day in the soap.
Filming always takes place two months before being aired on screen.
That means actors must be able to fake warmth – despite the freezing temperatures.
Steph made an appearance on Loose Women earlier this week where she admitted drinking three bottles of wine every morning at her lowest point before rehab.
The 25-year-old told how she’s turned her life around since returning to work on Hollyoaks and finding love with her co-star Owen Warner.
She explained: “I was in rehab for over eight weeks.
“People were telling me for ages and I didn’t want to hear it.
“I gave up the fight. It was tiring.

“I was drinking every day at the end. Probably about three bottles of wine in the morning.”
Steph’s ex boyfriend Jeremy McConnell was found guilty of battering Steph in a cocaine-fuelled row.
The abuse sent her spiralling into a deep depression, but now she’s back on her feet and happier than ever with boyfriend Owen.
Steph added: “It’s nice to know what real love is. He is amazing.
“Everyone at Hollyoaks was really happy to have me back. They cried because I’m doing what I’m good at again.”
